A unique Mother’s Day gift too!

The exercises are very diverse, fun, and thought-provoking. They range from tasks like listing similarities and differences, recording lifelines or drawing your home together, to writing a letter to the child’s future self or making a gratitude box for each other.

For each topic there are 2×2 pages:

The first two pages include activities and prompts that you can fill in. It is clearly indicated which part should be filled in by who and what you need to do together.

On the next two pages you will find topic-relevant quotes to reflect on together (What does it mean to you? Do you agree? Why?), and on the right page there is place for pictures and a follow-up question.

The WE MAP books can be used with kids between ages 6-18, but some readers even say they love using it with their adult children! The activities are relevant for all ages, however the answers you get might be different depending on age. It is also interesting to repeat your favorite activities a few years later!
If you work with younger children, you might want to adjust how you capture what you discover: some kids will like writing the answers, some will prefer to draw, and others will be more ready to share if you write down what they said.

WE MAP Mom and Daughter is already available on Amazon.

Coming soon! WE MAP Mom and Son, WE MAP Dad and Daughter, WE MAP Dad and Son, We Map Grandparent and Grandchild.

The parent-child relationship is one of the most important connections in life. As all relationships, it needs to be nurtured. Working on the activities of the WE MAP books is a great way to do just that!

We are sure you will discover new things about each other and your relationship!

Make sure to use your WE MAP your way!
You do not have to complete the book beginning to end
or in one go. You can explore it together by choosing the sections that grasp the attention of the two of you.
Answer questions over dinner, while driving to school or at the beach; or book special time for doing the activities together.
You can also fill the pages in turns and discuss later what you wrote. This way you can also work on the book if you live far away from each other.
You can adjust the content to liking by skipping, altering, or adding prompts. When answering, write as much or as little as you want. It is not a school essay or a test, so what you write doesn’t have to be perfect! Writing authentically what you know or don’t know, feel or think is more important; and use language that feels natural to you. You can even use stickers,
emojis or pictures instead of words.
